Parishioners and Friends of MQOA,
As we transition into the season of autumn and say goodbye to this (weirdest) summer (ever,) I, along with the staff and leaders of the parish, want to share our gratitude for you and for all you’re doing for this community of faith.
The past six months have been, in many ways, most difficult and demanding in our short life as a new parish. However, this season has also been fruitful because with God’s grace and blessing, the Holy Spirit has been actively working throughout the MQOA Community in Salem and beyond.
Now more than ever before, our parish and our parishioners are vital to the mission of offering hospitality and healing to those who seek hope, health and happiness. I believe that God gave our parish this dual mission with you in mind, and what you do every day as a member of this Church and as a disciple of Christ is essential, and of the greatest importance.
Thank you for your patience, your messages of encouragement, your financial support, and most of all, your prayers. We’re happy to announce that as October arrives, we’re adding more ways for you to attend Mass at our churches, see the back of this page for information about the Mass plans, and keep in touch to learn about other opportunities this fall for you to grow in faith, to care for your neighbor, and to change the world.
